We’re waiving one-time change and cancellation fees on Flight Pass credit bookings
Unlimited Flight Pass customers can put their unlimited Flight Passes on hold, please click here for steps on how to place your unlimited Flight Pass on hold.
Please note, if your current Flight Pass credit booking has a schedule change and is set to depart in 72 hours or less, simply click hereto complete a form and cancel your booking.
How to change a Flight Pass credit booking
NOTE: If there is a schedule change on your existing Flight Pass credit booking, you must first accept the booking change via "My bookings" prior to changing your Flight Pass credit booking.
- If your existing Flight Pass credit booking does have a schedule change, proceed to Step 2. If your existing Flight Pass credit booking does not have a schedule change, proceed to Step 4.
- From the Air Canada homepage, select the "My bookings" tab and enter your booking details.
From the "My bookings" page, scroll down to accept the scheduled flight change. Once that is complete, go to Step 4.
From the Air Canada homepage, select the "Flight Passes" tab to log in to the Flight Pass portal or log in to your Flight Pass app, in order to make a one-time change to your existing Flight Pass credit booking, free of charge.
How to cancel a Flight Pass credit booking
NOTE: If there is a schedule change on your existing Flight Pass credit booking, you must first accept the booking change via "My bookings" prior to cancelling your Flight Pass credit booking.
- If your existing Flight Pass credit booking does have a schedule change, proceed to Step 2. If your existing Flight Pass credit booking does not have a schedule change, proceed to Step 4.
- From the Air Canada homepage, select the "My bookings" tab and enter your details.
From the "My bookings" page, scroll down to accept the scheduled flight change. Once that is complete, go to Step 4.
From the Air Canada homepage, select the "Flight Passes" tab to log in to the Flight Pass portal or log in to your Flight Pass app, in order to cancel your existing flight pass credit booking, free of charge.
How to place an unlimited Flight Pass on hold
Send an email to unlimitedfp.pdvillimitee@aircanada.ca. Your Aeroplan Number and Flight Pass Reference must be included in the email. This email address will only process unlimited Flight Pass requests, all other Flight Passes must follow the directions above.
Please make note of the below conditions, prior to sending the email to request a hold on your unlimited Flight Pass:
- In order for your unlimited Flight Pass to be placed on hold, there must be no active bookings.
- While your unlimited Flight Pass is on hold, no bookings can be made.
- Please expect a delay of 3 business days for your request to be actioned.
- Your unlimited Flight Pass can be reactivated once you are ready to resume travel by sending an email to unlimitedfp.pdvillimitee@aircanada.ca. Please allow 2 business days for processing.
- The monthly installment payments will also be put on hold and resumed once your Flight Pass is reactivated.
- Your unlimited Flight Pass will be extended based on the length of your hold, which will start the day you send the request via email.
- An unlimited Flight Pass can only be placed on hold one time. Once re-activated, it cannot be placed on hold again at a later date.
Terms and Conditions
- Tickets must be booked directly from the Air Canada Flight Pass Admin or Flight Pass Mobile Application
- Air Canada tickets can be identified by a 13-digit ticket number beginning with Air Canada's code "014"
- A single change or cancellation may be made without incurring a change fee, provided it is completed at least two hours before the original departure date
